Why Keeperoo exists
Within a month of moving to Townsville, I'd collected fifteen cardboard loyalty cards — cafés, butchers, the swimming pool. I don't carry a wallet, so they lived in a drawer at home, which is exactly where they were every time I was standing at the counter.
The shops were onto something. I did go back to those places, and I liked that they'd bothered. It was just the little bit of cardboard letting everyone down.
So we built Keeperoo. The card lives in the phone that's already in your customer's hand — nothing to remember, nothing to lose.
Who you're actually dealing with
I'm Ian, and Keeperoo is run by a small team of two. We build the product, answer the emails, and do the onboarding calls ourselves. There's no disconnected support team and no ticket queue - when you get in touch, you're talking to the people who actually wrote the software.
The first business on Keeperoo was North Ward Gourmet Meats, a butcher we shop at. That's still how we'd rather grow it: local businesses we can actually talk to.
Keeperoo is an Australian sole proprietorship. The business is registered here, the data is hosted here, and we're in Townsville.
Your data is yours
Your customer list and stamp history belong to you. Ask any time and we'll send the lot as a spreadsheet - while you're a customer, or on your way out, at no charge.
Cards already in your customers' wallets keep working as long as the service runs. If Keeperoo ever wound up, you'd get notice and a full export, not a dead link.
