How to link your phone/tablet scanning device
Set up your mobile device to scan customer loyalty cards with the Scanaroo app.
Before you start
Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Generate a Device QR Code
- Log into your Keeperoo admin dashboard
- Navigate to
Settings → Devices - Click
Add New Device - Enter a name for your device (e.g., "Front Counter iPad")
- Set a 4-6 digit PIN for device security
- Click
Generate QR Code
Step 2: Download and Open Scanaroo
- Download the Scanaroo app from the App Store or Google Play
- Open the app on your device
- Grant camera permissions when prompted
- You should see a "No Device Paired" screen
Step 3: Scan the QR Code
- Tap
Scan QR Codein the Scanaroo app - Point your camera at the QR code on your admin screen
- The app will automatically detect and scan the code
- Enter the PIN you created in Step 1
- Tap
Pair Device
Step 4: Verify Connection
- You should see your business name and device info in the app
- The status should show "Connected"
- In your admin dashboard, the device should appear as "Online"
- Test scanning a loyalty card to ensure everything works
